ANZAC Day Talk - Year 10 Students
We are honored to welcome Scott Klima as our guest speaker, a retired Armoured Corps Officer with over 25 years of service. Mr. Klima's extensive experience includes:
- Serving with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment
- Roles as Troop leader, Squadron Commander, and temporary Regimental Commander
- Deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and UN peacekeeping missions in Israel, Syria, and Lebanon
- Work with the US Army and as an embedded officer with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces
This talk will consolidate students' learning from their World War I and II studies, offering a unique opportunity to gain insights from a veteran's perspective. It will provide context for the ANZAC liturgy scheduled for the same afternoon.
If you do not wish for your student to attend this talk please email- htaylor1@sacc.catholic.edu.au
