PADUA CAMPUS NEWS

Good day good people,

Week 1, Term 2

I hope everyone had a restful and joyful Easter break. We’re now well and truly back into the rhythm of teaching, learning, events, and co-curricular activities, with plenty of exciting things ahead this term. Thank you to all the parents and caregivers who attended our Term 1 Parent/Teacher Interviews. Your ongoing support and partnership play a vital role in your child’s learning journey. These conversations are invaluable in helping us work together to support each student’s growth and success.

Tomorrow is ANZAC Day, a significant occasion of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand. It is a time to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. Today, our school community gathered for a special ANZAC Day Liturgy. In commemorating the resilience and selflessness of the ANZACs, we also reflected on the many fallen soldiers. Embracing the ANZAC Spirit also fosters unity and inclusivity within our school. The Spirit is not only about those who served but also the communities that supported them. By learning their stories, students build empathy and solidarity—qualities that strengthen our school community and beyond.

School Carpark

This is a friendly reminder to all parents and caregivers to please be patient and cautious in the school car park during drop-off and pick-up times. Safety is our top priority, and we ask everyone to follow the traffic flow, adhere to speed limits, and be mindful of students walking through the area. A few extra moments of patience can make a big difference in keeping our school community safe. Thank you for your cooperation!

Reminder: No Dogs on Campus (Except Service Dogs)

We kindly remind all students, staff, and visitors that dogs are not permitted on school grounds unless they are registered service animals. While we love our furry friends, this policy helps ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of everyone on campus. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Pupil Free Day - Friday 2 May

A reminder that the Diocese has granted a Pupil Free Day this Friday for all P-12 students.

2025 Prep Allocations

Interviews for families will commence in Week 3. Letters of offer for our 2026 Prep intake will be emailed to families in mid-May. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of learners to our school community!

God bless,

Karen Krzelj - Deputy Principal (Acting)
