Over last term and this term our Drama Club kids have been immersed in Speechmakers - learning public speaking skills to present in front of an audience successfully.

We held our school competition a few weeks ago, with 21 of our students delivering speeches. 

Jaye and Mackenzie were chosen from Year 4; Imogen and Louis from Year 5 and Ella and Chloe from Year 6 to represent our school at the Southern Cross Speechmaker Competition. This event was held last night and it was a very tough competition and  they all did so well. 

Imogen came away with a Highly Commended while Louis placed 3rd.

Well done to you all! Your courage to get up in front of an audience is amazing and will have so many benefits in the future.
