TEEN AND MINI VINNIES
This year’s Winter Carnival was more than just a fun-filled community event- it was a powerful act of love in motion. Our Teen Vinnies and Mini Vinnies students came together to host a second-hand clothing stall, raising funds to support St Vincent de Paul’s mission to help those experiencing hardship.
A Big Win for Compassion
Thanks to the incredible effort of our Vinnies students- and the generosity of the entire school community- the fundraiser was a tremendous success. Funds raised will go directly to St Vincent de Paul to help provide clothing, food, and emergency relief to individuals and families in crisis.
Every purchase made at the stall was about more than just reusing and recycling. It was about restoring dignity, offering hope, and embodying the values of charity and community that St. Vincent de Paul cherished.
Growing Future Leaders
Throughout the experience, our Teen and Mini Vinnies displayed more than just responsibility-they revealed a depth of empathy, leadership, and a sincere commitment to social justice. These are not just students; they are the future changemakers of our world.
They’ve learned that even a simple act, like folding a shirt or greeting a customer, can be part of something far bigger. This project was not only a lesson in service, but a beautiful example of how young people can lead with heart and make real change.
