Last Wednesday our Eco Marine Ambassador students attended the Making Waves event at Rydge’s, Southbank. They had an incredible day presenting their sustainability projects, connecting with like-minded students, and learning from mentors from organisations like Ergon Energy and Townsville City Council. 

A definite highlight was meeting the team from Hands on Wildlife! Exposing how delicate animal habitats are, and the effect our actions can take on them. Students even had the chance to hold a baby crocodile and meet some of the rangers’ special animal friends.

It was a day filled with inspiration, new friendships, and big ideas, all driving us to make our school and community a more sustainable place!
